Starfield Films was formed by former cricketer and award-winning broadcaster Simon Hughes and renowned documentary director Ashley Gething who happen to live two doors apart in Starfield Road, west London. Their aim is to make films or podcast series that get under the skin of sport’s teams and players. Their creation The Greatest Game – a glorious account of the England cricket team’s rejuvenation under Eoin Morgan, climaxing with the team winning the World Cup for the first time, produced in collaboration with Sylver Entertainment - is now showing on Sky Documentaries, BBC iPlayer and all over the world.
